Does anyone have any airline that they prefer? Which airline has the best Frequent Flyers deals? |
Travel Info I currently live in NC, my family all lives in California, I may move back to cali for 18 months to attend a different school, but want to fly back on some weekeneds (possibly every other weekened) and on breaks untill I move back. After that I still like to fly back and visit my family in cali. It's nice to take trips every once in a while also. So, I'm looking for the best package I can find. Travel Tips I am a travel agent, and book a lot of airline travel, as well as traveling a lot myself. I really do not have a favorite airline, but the one I have had the fewest hassles with in the last few years is American. Really, in this day and age I see dealing with airlines as a necessary evil, not just for travel agents, but consumers as well. Most airlines have frequent flyer programs, but I would never fly an airline just because of it - it's really not worth it. I have frequent flyer accounts with all of them. If you are traveling back and forth to NC, you may be better off with USAirways, but they are definately not my favorite. But, these days, none of them are great, with the possible exception of JetBlue. For a package, please contact a reputable travel agent. Stay off of the consumer booking engines. I have calls from people with horror stories to tell about these every day, and I am unable to help them. A travel agent provides accountability - they will deal with the suppliers for you. Good and cheap and very comfortable flights. use southwest.... its awesome to use, and they have frequent flyer miles, quite handy experience with flying southwest What city in NC? Jet Blue is not in most cites and Southwest flies from RDU. Some fares in and out of CLT are very high. Good Luck and make sure you get credit for all of this flying! southwest |
