Is Sacramento a good place to live? |
Travel Info Hi, I am in my early 20s and going to graduate college this August. I am looking towards moving somewhere in California, (and of course finding a job there)... Do you think Sacramento is a good place for someone like me? If so, what makes it a good place? Travel Tips It depends on the type of environment you're looking for. Sacramento is a good place to raise a family. If you're young and looking for an exciting nightlife, then Sacramento is not the place for you. A positive is that Sacramento is located not to far from the mountains and the beach. The Bay Area (San Francisco, etc.) is located 2 hours away. The Bay Area has a much better nightlife than Sacramento. You could find things to do in Sacramento, but once again, it depends on what you're actually looking to do. Others I don't recommend California. Go to Nevada or Arizona. california blows, high cost of living, mexican TRESPASSERS everywhere, liberal pssys running arounf everywhere, homos parading around..cant wait for the big earthquake and it falls into the sea For being 20, eh no, im 21 and live here, you have to go to sf, or down south for a good night life, If you are looking recreationally yes it is. We have lakes, rivers, 45 min to the snow, nice long hot summers, quick winters and rain. We have AHNOLD the govenator...Lotta liberals i get to fight with, mexicans basically stay down south.... by the border not too many of them here. Seems the Russian population tripled though.... Conspiracy?!?!?! Sacramento is a huge place, with lots of crime, but has nice areas. Try Elk Grove, and Carmichael Heights first. Do not live downtown. Roseville is also a pretty good area. The Sierras are only and hour, and a half away. the Bay area is better but cost of living is higher, the good thing about sacramento is that it's only 2 hours away from everything. 2 hours away from the ocean, 2 hours away from Reno and Tahoe. It's a weird city to where every area has ghetto areas in it. But their are alot of nice areas of town, in your 20's I'd reccomend the midtown area, all kinds of bars and clubs withing walking distance and its' the area the hipsters all live. Sacramento and it's outskirts is a nice place to live indeed. It is accessible to anything. |
