Snow levels will lower to around 4000 feet this afternoon and evening and then to near 3000 feet tonight. 6 inches or more of new snowfall are expected by Thursday morning above the 4000 foot level with more snowfall possible at pass levels. In addition to the snowfall... wind will be increasing today with southwest gusts up to 35 mph possible tonight. Others The roads go up, then they go down. Just drove that route over the weekend and the roads are clear. With the mild winter, there's barely any snow on the mountain. There is a small storm rolling through today, however it should only drop a few inches at the highest elevations.
