Anything fun to do? Good places to eat in and around Sacramento, CA? (Rocklin/Auburn/Roseville, etc)? |
Travel Info We'll be visiting for a week to do some house hunting...not tons of time to site see and tour, but looking for good food and maybe a fun place to see. Travel Tips There is an Islands in Roseville. They have great burgers and drinks. BJ's in Roseville near the Galleria Mall is nice if you are looking for a sit down restaurant. Logans Roadhouse in Citrus Heights on Sunrise Blvd. is a really fun sit down restaraunt with a country vibe, and they have great rolls! (Citrus Heights is about 10 minutes out of Roseville) If you make your way a little more towards Sacramento, Tex Wasabi's Rock n Roll Sushi just opened on Arden Way, and it's a TON of fun! The guy who owns it won some reality show on the Food Network. Strikes Bowling Alley in Rocklin just opened and it's amazing, and they have an awesome sit down restaurant inside. (I know it sounds weird that it's a bowling alley, but it's gorgeous!) Others If you like antiques, go to old town Auburn (Maple street exit off I-80) Go to Awful Annies - it is a great little mom and pop restaurant and they have great breakfasts and lunches! Lucky for you, I live in Rocklin. =) I recommend the following restuaraunts: BJs, located near the Galleria Mall. They make the BEST root beer there. There are many resturaunts around the Galleria Mall like TGIFridays, Red Robin, Olive Garden. If your looking for a place for entertainment, go to Sunsplash, near BJs. If you want some house hunting? My friends mom named Natalie Whistler will love to help you out. She is a retailer. dos coyotes |
