I love it here!! Do you?

Travel Info
If you had to leave Sacramento, what is the one thing you'd miss the most about it and why?

*For me being a young black woman I would definitely miss the culture and diversity, hands down---I've heard Sacramento is the most diversed city in the country...I LOVE all the different cultures...*

Travel Tips
I did have to leave it, and it hurt! I lived there 54 years. I would come back for the beauty, weather, city planning, trees, balance, people, landscapes, education level and availability, clean roads and freeways, variety of cultural restaurants, indoor malls, child-friendly planning, the cultural integration, art community and diversity, and so much more. I can only hope that someday I'll be able to move back there, to the place where I was born.

Yes that is a great thing about Sacramento... but I have to say I'd miss the Hot Guys ;D... okay... well... maybe one in particular ;P
I lived there for several years and have now moved. I have got to say I don't miss anything about Sac.
I did leave Sacramento 2.5 years ago and relocated to Redwood City, Ca. I love Sacramento, always have and always will. Fishing, watersports, great bars, Kings, and good high school sports programs, and the weather is kickass also. And the beautiful women that abound in Sac is beyond measure in some areas...Thank God I'm only 1.5 hrs. away by car...Enjoy and keep my beautiful hometown cool OK???

Definitely the diversity. Also, all the great Chinese food on broadway, the Sandra Dee's downtown (mmm, I could go for some riblets and cornbread right now!), the Oto's Japanese food market on Freeport blvd, eating Pho noodles at the vietnamese restaraunts on Stockton Blvd, going to JR's Texas BBQ to get a huge tri-tip sandwhich, catching a King's game (3 years ago when they still had C-Webb), bumpin 103.5 when they have one of those weekend non-stop mixes and they quit playin the same stuff all the time, going to a park and finding a pick-up basketball game and playing for hours, golfing at a cheap $20 muni course and having some beers, being able to have friends of almost every different cultural background and experiencing the foods and sounds of their cultures, and the number one thing would be sitting inside a nice air-conditioned room sippin lemonade while it's 110 outside (you never really truly appreciate air-conditioning until times like this).
Pain, power, and memories. Nothing more and nothing less.
