Travel Info Live in sacramento and want to go camping in the north california. does anyone know a place? Travel Tips Shasta Lake is beutiful and has lots of camping sites. Others Domingo Springs up near Lake Almanor is great. So is Salt Point State Park on the Sonoma Coast. The best place is Lake Tahoe, a very wonderful two hour drive. for a full list of camping locations and supplies, see the link. http://sacramento.citysearch.com/yellowp... Bodega bay or up the coast a little further at Fort Ross. It is nice to go there in June - August. I like to visit Placerville, lots to see and do there. |
