What do you know about Bahia?

Brazil is not only Sao Paulo/Rio de Janeiro and 'Amazonas. Thus I want to know your kowledge regrement other places from Brazil, such as Bahia, Minas, Par谩, Rio Grande do Sul, etc.

Oi, Nina ...

I know that BAHIA is not only Salvador and beaches, but home to a great National Park, Chapada Diamantina, a couple of hours inland from Salvador. Lots of great hiking to waterfalls, caves, and mesas, but purposely not well mapped so as to encourage visitors to hire guides in the nice hippie town of Len莽ois.

I stayed at a farm in western MINAS GERAIS and hiked around there, too.

It is possible to find peace and quiet in Brazil!
