Has anyone been in San Antonio Texas? If so what is your opinion on Texas? |
Travel Info I am moving to Texas and would like others opinions on how it is and where entertainment is located Travel Tips Definitely hot, but you'll adapt and get Air Conditioning and it wont bother you! I live in San Antonio and I love it. I was actually born up North (North Dakota) but came to Texas really young so Iconsider myself a native. I've lived in a few states temporarily (Tennesee, Kentucky, California) and there's no where like home, I think people are just friendlier here. And you cant beat the food! Everything is Mexican influenced (at least in South Texas) so you've got your tacos, enchiladas, guacamole mmmmm.... Other states just CAN't do Mexican food right. There's plenty to do in San Antonio too, there's the San ANtonio Zoo (really beautiful place), SEa World, Six Flags, the RiverWalk, tons of clubs and restaurants downtown, a million eveents at the Alamodome and SBC Center, just to name a few. It can get pretty rainy in fall/winter but it takes away some heat so you'll enjoy it. Most importantly, try to come with a positive attitude, and don't feed into stereotypes of Texans or feel like an outsider, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. I've never been to San Antonio, but I have been to Littleton which is a decent place. The only problem I had was with a group of guys who said they were "gypsies" and that they were only allowed to marry their second cousin........sure that won't happen to you though! Seriously, Texas is great! You'll have fun and make friends fast. awesome i was born there but i live in ohio now but i visit in summers I have been to houston,my friend lives in dallas she loves it I've been there. All the entertainment is downtown. It's beautiful in parts, others parts are crappy. There are a lot of sluts there, lots of STDs, a lot of teenage single moms. |
