Travel Info Whicis the best big city in Texas? Houston, Dallas or San Antonio? and why? Travel Tips Dallas is stuck-up, Houston is a shithole, San Antonio is pretty decent, but Austin is the best. Other Travel Tips Austin...it is one of the fasted growing in the country houston, its got all the partying and the beautifull people(no offense to anyone whos not in houston, you're beautifull too" San Antonio. It has culture, great shopping, great food, good business, friendly people and it just doesn't feel as big as the other cities you mentioned. Then again, I grew up in Dallas. So it'll always have a special place in my heart just because I have so many good memories. I'm going to have to go with San Antonio, as a visitor. There is GREAT shopping in the area, I went to three different malls in San Antonio, and loved them all. Obviously, there are things for tourists to do, having the Alamo there and all. The zoo is good, there tons of hotels, THE SPURS(duh), Tony Parker. I'd just have to say San Antonio is great!:) San Antonio hands down! Houston is smoggy. San Antonio has so much culture, shopping and entertainment. We are so close to it all. On a hot day you can float down the Guadalupe River with friends. We have the Alamo which is the most famous spots in Texas where 189 defenders fell on March 6, 1836, after repeated attacks by Mexican General Santa Anna鈥檚 army. Our Riverwalk or also known as the Paseo Del Rio in the heart of downtown, is the pride of the city. Hope you get to come visit/live in our great city. |
