Travel Tips
I dont know why everybody is crying, it's not a bad park at all... I have definately been to parks that were horrible, and this is not one of them. Rides, Best Shows, and a waterpark in one... What else do you want???
Tickets are like in the 25 buck range (with a coupon you can pick up anywhere, Coke cans for example), Sea World's cheapest adult ticket will set you back about 40 bucks for 1 adult.... Been to both, would take Fiesta over Shamu anyday. I'm not knock'n SeaWorld, but if I had the choice, it would be Fiesta.
And to the people complaining about it being "hot at Fiesta Texas"...... YA THINK?????? DUHHHHH, it's summertime, it's TEXAS...... If it wasn't hot, we'd call it wintertime....
Ohh, and on the subject on the "kids operating rides"... uhmm, i think that's EVERYWHERE!!! Who do you think makes your food at McDonalds??? AS IF the kids are the ones who inspect the rides daily.... All they do is make sure everybody is fastened safetly (which in my thought, if you had any commen sense, you'd make sure for yourself you were fastened safely). They have maintenance people who sit in a computer room all day and observe the rides and are alerted when problems arise....
Do Fiesta, You'll Love It !!! Source(s): Been There, Done That....

Other Travel Tips
I like it Because they closed the one in Houston.
It's fun! Not the best park out there, but it has some great rides. Just stay away from the grizzly, unless you like rickety old wooden rides.
if u have a thirst for excitement ...great
if u have weak hearts, i would suggest Sea World, san Antonio,TX.
The place is a dump.

Everything is way overpriced. The workers are uneducated in customer service.

It's hot as hell there.
I am terrified of the "summer jobs" that are given to teens that operate the rides. i'm not sure how much experience they have, but it scares me to think that a big corporation like six flags would leave the lives of thousands of visitors to kids. I went to the one in Jackson, New Jersey. Scared out of my wits on each and every ride I went on. I'm still alive though, hehe.
DisneyWorld recently had a mishap, involved a death of a boy. Not sure what happened, but something else happened not so long before that one. I guess, use your intuition, check out the ppl operating the rides. Are they sleeping on the job? goofing around? etc...i'm sorry to be such a downer, but you asked for an opinion.
