Where can I find cheap parking?

We are visiting San Antonio for Labor Day weekend, staying at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk. Is there affordable parking near by? I called the front desk and the hotel parking is about $27 a day!!!

About half a block away is the U.S. Post Office and Court House. Across the street is a parking lot.(The post office is across the street from The Alamo.) They charge $7.00 a day And across the street from that at the corner of W.Travis @S. Alamo is another parking lot that charges $5.00 a day. Just in case no one says anything,"Welcome to San Antonio"!!!

Pssst...there's a few spots around the Alamo. Some have parking meters, but if I recollect, they shut off after hours and on weekends. Probably a few more, but it's been a while since I was there. Just cruise around.
saulg21 is right, there are also some parking garages near the river walk and within walking distance of your hotel that charge $10.00 a day on up. enjoy our beautiful city!
Damn! Well, you can always park under the bridge for nothing, but no guarantee your car will be safe. Or at the Market once you drop all the things off in your room, and that 's pretty inexpensive. I usually park on College Street. It's pretty decent.
