Grocery Store in/near Riverwalk in San Antonio? |
Travel Info We're looking for a grocery store located near downtown San Antonio area. Would prefer a large store, but need to get the essentials for our vacation here. Any suggestions? Travel Tips Go to Wal-Mart, it's cheaper. Everyone knows you can find a Wal-Mart anywhere you go. It seems there are so many hotels and apartments in the downtown area,but not one gas station or grocery store near there. Since you will be downtown,go up Broadway Street about 2 1/2 miles to Hildebrand and there is an HEB grocery store. It's right next to University of Incarnate Word. Now if you just want toothpaste,mouthwash,soap,stuf... like that,then at the corner of Houston Street and Navarro there is a small Walgreens. Just look for the San Antonio Police Bike Patrol Station. Oh, I almost forgot. Just in case no one says it,"Welcome to San Antonio"!!! |
