Is San Antonio, Texas a good place to live? |
Travel Info I live in NJ now and am looking for a change. I'm 30 years old and like dating hispanic women. Is there a lot of job opportunities there? I am bilingual. Is real estate a good investment there? What are the positives and negatives to living there? Travel Tips I live in NJ now and am looking for a change. San Antonio is warm and beautiful. People are friendly. NOt SARCASTIC. You might think it's a little too sugary. I'm 30 years old and like dating hispanic women. Well, there are plenty of hispanic women. Just be sure you enjoy la Familia because hispanic women do! Is there a lot of job opportunities there? Depends on what you are looking for. Austin has more. Houston has more. I am bilingual. Is real estate a good investment there? Yes, real estate is a good investment. Most people in San Antonio are bilingual that is a majority issue. What are the positives and negatives to living there? Beautiful warm city that loves to party and lives on Manana time. Sometimes so hot that you might have to put your a/c on extra cool and you might have to not water for lengths of time. Great biking weather. Beautiful archetecture downtown. I love San Antonio. Drawback... it's no longer a secret and growing too fast. Others It's definantly HOT in the summer! And there's certainly a LOT of SPANISH speakers there, in fact, ANYWHERE in TEXAS. The negatives are about the same as the positives.... I have a friend who moved here from NJ two years ago. At first he hated the heat, but he is definitely getting used to it. He just returned to NJ for a visit and like to froze to death. Unfortunately his wife does not like it here and is really campaigning hard for them to return to NJ - she's winning unfortunately. The cost of living is extremely low and there is always something to do no matter what time of the year it is. Real estate investment can be lucrative depending on the area the you purchase in. Another friend just sold a house that they had purchased two years ago and made a $68,000 profit. You would definitely want to look at the north central and north west sections of the area. |
