Where is a good place to live in san antonio? |
Travel Info i am currently living in san diego and i am looking into moving to either san antonio or fort worth. i am 20 years old and single so i would like to live somewhere with people my own age around. so if anyone has any ideas of "good" parts of town around san antonio, please let me know. Travel Tips If I were you, I'd be looking to live in one of the lofts at the Blue Star Arts complex, on the southern end of King William, an arts district with cool cafes, bars, and a lively arts scene, including First Fridays, a particularly lively event on the first Friday of every month. Others In a house or apartment First look on the map and avoid all military runways. In fort worth the best area for young people would be near the large universities, such as TCU in Fort Worth (not Westlyn, too rough) If you reasked the question and asked about the university neighborhoods in particular, I think you would get a better response. Welcome to Texas The North and Northeast or Northwest sides are good areas of SA. Welcome to Texas. If you move to San Antonio, the west side of town is dangerous (lots of crime). Try to find someplace up on the North side of town. It has nice scenery, easy commute to anywhere in town because of access to the freeways, great restaurants in the area, and the best thing is it's the safest area of San Antonio. My opinion only, however we moved to San Antonio over 4 years ago. I am glad we found a place on the north side when we moved. www.ApartmentFinder.com may be able to get you situated in a short term lease just long enough to see if you enjoy living in San Antonio. Good luck... Definitley the North and North East side is the best. Going up I 35 and a little way out of San Antonio on I 35 is a good place to live. Near Schertz, Universal City, etc.... |
