Who went to sea world in san antonio? |
Travel Info Me and my family want to go but they offer too much. I do not want to spend that much. What shall I do and not do... Thanks for your help. Travel Tips Sea World sucked. It was way over-priced, the lines were long, the shows and rides weren't really all that great, and the only ice cream flavor they served was vanilla. I will never, ever go to Sea World again. By the end of the day everyone was cranky, hot, tired, and hadn't really had much fun. Source(s): Personal experience. My husband and I went with my two stepdaughters. Other Travel Tips San Antonio is a great tourist town! The hotel industry is very competitve and many of the chains offer package deals that include free tickets to Sea World or Fiesta Texas. http://www.fairfieldgetaways.com/offers/... Your Package Includes: * 3 Nights Hotel Accommodations for up to two adults and two children (under age 18) at the Holiday Inn Downtown Marketsquare, Holiday Inn Express or comparable area hotel. * Your choice of either: o Two adult tickets to SeaWorld San Antonio (Retail Value: $86) o OR Two adult tickets to Fiesta Texas, a Six Flags Theme Park (Open seasonally Retail Value: $79) Sea World is huge! Plan to arrive as close to parking opening time as you can. 1) you get a better parking space, 2) more time to enjoy the park. You might want to consider multi-day tickets if you are going to be in San Antonio several days. If you can't find a hotel with deals that include Sea World, we recommend the Drury Inn (www.druryinn.com) They have a great morning and evening buffet plus the one on 1604 and I-10 have indoor swimming pools. Food and drinks are really expensive, too. I don't remember if they have a picnic area outside the park. It's alot of fun but you are right that it can get expensive quickly. You need to shop on the internet for coupons or specials that they offer. Our grocery stores here are H.E.B. Groceries and they usually offer family & Individual discount packages. You should be able to save some money on the entrance, but don't forget about the parking, food & beverages, and souveniers. Save yourself money by: Taking a back pack full of waters and sandwiches because it is very expensive to eat in the Seaworld restaurants and fast food vending stands. They rent lockers pretty cheap to have a change of clothes or for snacks, etc. Take a water proof camera just in case you go near the water park or if you happen to lose it. They will take your picture everywhere for you, but they charge quite a bit. We also buy these rubber slip on shoes at Target for about $5 a pair. They are good for walking around the water park areas. I can't think of much else, but I hope you have a fun time. Visit Seaworld and/or Fiesta Texas everytime a relative comes into town. i have been it can be pricy but we have a season pass soo we dont have to pay again and again to get in..but usualyy they have discount tickets at h-e-b or sometimes they have coupons at mcdonalds..but go in the summer like in june or july cause they have 2 diffrent shows for shamu and sea lions. and there is a lot u can do. and its all worth it cruise the river walk, the alamo, and then go tubing north of the city! forget sea world. |
