Travel Tips
San Antonio was a great city to choose in Texas. It's all you want to know in Texas. I had a whole list of stuff to do, but after I read you were pg'ed that's out. I was going to suggest Wonder World, but it's lots of walking, and it's north of S.A. so more driving for you would be bad.

Visit the website below to find out more!

Most restaraunts in S.A. have a kids eat free night on Tuesdays! So heads up for that! You might want to think about sea world, if the kids are really excited go for it, but Fiesta Texas might be a better pick. Sea world has kinda gone down hill. Museums are a great idea, you could always get a wheelchair which i wouldn't pass up!! Lots of walking in S.A. I would ask your hotel if they drop off and pick up, because parking is a hassel. I would definatley check out the river walk and the Alamo. If you want some true Mexican food you must go to Mi Tierra which is in the "El Mercado" area. It's decorated like mexico and the food is great! Don't go too late because the tequila is cheap! lol, it is open 24 hrs also. There are lots of little shops in that area, parking isn't bad there. Um, I would also suggest, going out on a limb here, driving to Galveston, it's about 1-2 hrs. away. I would only suggest this if you guys have never seen the beach! It is so beautiful and not many tourists this time of year! Go down and see the STRAND. another little shopping district with a great icecream parlor! It's like a board walk!

GOOD LUCK & have fun!

Other Travel Tips
You have to go have dinner on the river walk one night. Its neat. How old are the kids? They have boats that go down the river and tell about the history of that part of SanAntonio. Don't know if they'd be interested in that or not. There's the Alamo too. Sea World is a two day trip. Usually they sell two day passes. One day you go see all the fish & shows and the second day you go to the water park and play all day.
It's interesting to walk and shop El Mercado and eat lunch or dinner there. I suggest seeing the IMAX movie about the Alamo, then seeing the Alamo itself. There is also a nice park you can drive that connects all the missions. Buckhorn Museum is downtown as well, and it's pretty neat. Good childrens museum across the street from that as well. Go to Gruene, walk around the shops and eat at The Gristmill (good food, great river views) If you want to relax for a few, go to Dave and Busters and give them a handful of quarters. They have an excellent resturant as well. On 10 west right out of the loop, there is a good place that has putt-putt, go-cart, batting cages, etc. Another good town to visit is Bandera, very old west looking place, and you will see local cowboys riding thier horses in town to hit the watering holes. Take the kids to the Magic Time Machine for dinner one night, they'll love it! Have fun!
I was just there this summer and the alamo is great. Deffinitly since you are pregnet take a boat ride on the river walk.Go to the resturant dirty dicks.don't mind the nam its lots of fun.
me
well u have a good choice. seaworld is sooo much fun we are planning to go to during spring break..but u can also go to fiesta texas its like the same like seaworld but there are no animal shows or anything educational there if thats what you are looking for. but they have mostly rides. you can also take a trip to the alamo or the riverwalk.....the alamo is pretty cool. they have like stuff about what happened during the battle of the alamo and stuff like that. and if you have a sports person in your family go to a spurs game. and also maybe like 20 or 25 miles away is a town called san marcos and they have a outlet mall and its a really nice place to go they have plenty of stores there...well i hope this helps....have a good trip!!
