Is Nacogdoches and O'Connor a good area? |
Travel Info We are in the process of relocating and looking at several subdivisions in the NEISD area. One of which is near Woodstone Elementary/Wood Middle School. What is the crime like in the area? Is it a good area? Travel Tips it's ok, crime wise it's not too bad, you should be ok in that area.. check out this site it will have lots of info on crime http://www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/indexcrim... Others It's a decent area. But, if you are worried, make sure you drive through the areas you are considering at night and on the weekends to see what the neighborhood is REALLY like. Good luck. You can go online and look into that area. I know my brother and his wife's church is there. It seems like a nice area. Does it feed into Roosevelt or Madison. If it feeds into Madison, I would recommend it, but not Roosevelt which is the "hood" of the NEISD. And, Lee is the "Barrio" of San Antonio. I live near McAllister Park by the Airport. I think it's great living near a park and watching deer come into my front yard. Our school is WEtmore Elementary, Driscoll MS and MacArthur HS. Great kids, lots of diversity, good teachers who care. The NEISD area is growing by leaps and bounds. If you plan on moving into the woodstone subdivision, the kids walk to both the elementary school and the middle school. The crime rate in the area, when I lived in that area, was low. It was mainly school kids playing minor pranks on one another. Otherwise it was not bad at all. That area, overall, is one of the better places to live in. Make your decision wisely. With the area growing by leaps and bounds, the school system is trying to keep up. Lived in SA for 10+ years |
