Travel Info San Antonio, TX Travel Tips look round Others my house... just kidding, I'm North of SA. There are some nice bars on Broadway - especially in the Alamo Heights area. There's a pub accross the street from Central Market (actually, that's a pretty good place to hook up too). When you do hook up don't miss out on Paloma Blanca - love the mango margaritas there. Where are you from, what part are you moving to??? It's difficult to give tmi given the limited details. I'll check back. Dont move to San Antonio. Avoid it. It's Mexico with the gold standard. Head east..HEAD EAST!!!!! I agree with the person who answered above. Aihlie hit the areas I love when I go out in San Antonio. And not only does Paloma Blanca have great margaratias, it has great food too. Well, it depends on your ethnicity. If you are Hispanic, this city will be your oyster. If you are White, you will probably like Sunset Station and the downtown area. If you are Black or Asian, you may want to try Dallas, Houston, or Austin. Russ forgot that if you are white and unwilling to explore other cultures, you should go to the Stone Oak area because that is the most "white" you can get without actually having to deal with anyone not white. That is so biased, but unfortunately, true. If you like to explore cultures and need to reside somewhere close to your area, there are wonderful places in the medical center for young professionals like yourself. I would also recommend the San Antonio Adventure Club, online...primarily young singles and young couples venture in San Antonio and Texas for outings and fun. You are going to love San Antonio!! I used to live there but now I am living in Albuquerque NM and it is NO FUN at all!! And it is nothing like MEXICO! Let's see where to go to hook up... downtown is good I used to live downtown. What the other lady said is good in the Alamo Heights area, Babcock, 1604&281. It really just depends on what you are into? Country, rock, hip hop, dance, whatever. |
