Do you know a good place to camp in San Antonio, Tx or nearby? We have an Rv .? |
Travel Info We will be there for the first week in April. We were hoping for a picturesque spot not a KOA type campground. Thanks Travel Tips Medina Lake is a nice spot, Canyon Lake isnt too far off down 281, Guadalupe River SP in Spring Branch just down 281. Garner SP is really nice, near Hondo. I am closer to Conroe so I could give you a couple nice ones in this area if you like. closer to Houston. No question, check out Bastrop State Park, but you'll need to book in advance. I camp all the time and it is definately one of the best and not far from S.A. Look it up at www.tpwd.state.tx.us Further away, try Concan TX, just Google it, lots of places there off the Frio river. There are a couple of RV campgrounds in San Antonio. Check with the Chamber of Commerce, they can tell you where they are and possibly send you a map. |
