Which Methodist hospital in San Antonio TX the best place to work as a RN? |
Travel Info Northeast, Metropolitan or Specialty Methodist? Tele or MedSurg floor. Looking for a unit that has a low turnover and burnout rate. Travel Tips I've experienced HORRIBLE care at Methodist medical center. These nurses are so busy and so tired very little care is given to each individual patient. The first time I was there a nurse almost stuck me with a used syringe. Had I not been observant and caught her negligence who knows what would have been the result. She was so apologetic but I question how many patients have actually had this experience and not know it. The second time I was there the nurse who worked a double shift hardly came into my room to check on me. It was my husband that cared for me, not her. They are very much overworked. I agree that the nurses at the NICU were the best. They were very attentive and gave my daughter all the care she needed. I could sense they truly cared about each baby. Others Sorry, I have no idea. I do know that I didn't like the care I received last year at the Methodist hospital in the med center. The postpartum nurses were nice, but were run ragged and gave poor care because they didn't have enough help. BUT, the NICU nursing staff was awesome! Everyone truly seemed to care for each baby and were there to answer every question in layman's terms to help us through that difficult time. |
