Good Furniture stores in San Antonio?

I'm moving to san antonio from new york.....and it might not be perminet...so i've taken advice from people on here and home that since it might not be permanate.....i should not pay all that money too bring all my stuff down but to buy some or all in SA. and one store in new york i guess isn't in texas....so anyone who lives there....what are some good furniture stores? besides target? for bedroom and living room. Thanks.

We bought our living room and dining furniture from Ashley. They have a wide price range to cover most budgets. The salespeople are friendly and it is a low-pressure shopping experience. They do NOT keep stock in San Antonio, so be prepared to wait a couple of weeks for delivery.

For beds, I have read that Billy Bob's is the place to go. I haven't shopped there, but the local paper has done some articles on them. Apparently, Billy Bob started out selling mattresses from his garage and is now one of the largest dealers in San Antonio. He operates on a no-haggle, what you see is what you get policy.

there are a lot of places the get furniture. Ashleys, Havertys, Stowers, Furniture Factory Direct, The Room Store, Ethan Allen. Just depends on your budget. If your not going to be here for long you can even go to Rent to Own.
