Is South Padre Island, TX a better beach / beach town than Port Aransas, TX? |
Travel Info I've been to Port Aransas many times and finally swore I would never go there again because it's such an all round lame beach & lame town. Given that fact, I'm wondering if it would be worth checking out South Padre or if Texas beaches just aren't going to cut it for me. Travel Tips WEll, it kind of makes you wonder what you are looking for. If you want a bunch of hotels and something like Cancun, then Galveston Island near Houston and South Padre are for you. If you like the more laid back style of Port Aransas and North Padre than you are not looking for a life in the fast lane. Have fun in South Padre. Others south padre is much better than port A. spi is especially live around spring break. my preference for texas beach is galveston. much better than the southern beaches. |
