For almost 30 years friends of ours have camped every year at the Guadalupe River at New Braunfels on Memorial Weekend...at least 10 of last years at River Rats / Dog Leg Hollow campgrounds on River Terrace Rd. off of 46 in New Braunfels. Every year before we leave we reserve 3-6 spots for the next Memorial Weekend and gather again. We have just now found out that this campground has been sold and will not allow campers this year. Does anyone have any info on this?? WE LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND and would do almost anything to stay here one last time. Please help if you know who the new owners are ( rumor is they are building a restaurant and are not allowing campers on the river). It is just past Rockin' R's camp on River Terrace Rd). We have bikes, tents, children and dogs and is hard to find someone at this late time. We will have between 50-70 people(not all camp overnite). Thank you.
