What is there to do with TODDLERS in SAN ANTONIO??? |
Travel Info My husband is going on a business trip July 5-9th in San Antonio. He was thinking of bringing me and the kids (ages 1.5 and 3) with him. Is there anything to do there for toddlers? Travel Tips Two places come to mind, The first is Sea World and the second is Six Flags, both are family friendly not only for the very young but also for the very old. I am over 60 and have taken my grand child there when she was very young that was a few years ago she just turned 5, My sister in-law has taken her grandson since before he was 1, and he still looks forward to it. Aanother nice place to go is to the zoo and it is family friendly also, when all else fails there is always the park Others We have a nice zoo, and also there is the Children's Museum located in downtown area. You might check with the concierge at the hotel you will be staying at they might have some other ideas. u have to go to seaworld....that is very educational for ur kids...and i think they will be intrested in the animals over there too In July San Antonio will be extremely HOT!! So here are a few suggestions for you. The San Antonio Zoo has added this new toddler section with a cute water area. You can actually get their swimsuits on and let them play in the water while you sit in the shade and watch them have fun. Kidzville - (210) 530-9911 / 7142 San Pedro Ave San Antonio, TX 78216 $5 for two hours of indoor fun for every toddler in San Antonio. Bouncy houses, play houses, slides, mini basketball courts, and much more fun things to do. San Antonio public libraries have story times, crafts, and activities for children all summer long. As you get closer to that date you can go online and find out the schedule or call the closest one to where you will be to sign your kids up. http://www.sanantonio.gov/library/news/n... Hope this helps! Bring them down to the Witte (witt-ee) Museum on Broadway. They have "The Science Tree" where kids learn about science and nature and they get to climb on it too. |
