Where can I rent a convertible in San Antonio? |
Travel Info I'm a soldier returning on R&R soon and want to rent a convertible sometime during the second week of June. I would prefer something besides a Chrysler Sebring. All the rental places I've checked do not have anything available. I want it for 2 days to take a short local trip. Travel Tips The bigger question is am I over 25 years old? There is no Car rental company that is going to rent you a convertible. Yesterday I spoke with Enterprise in St. Louis Mo. and their answer to me was that they would rent a car to a 21-24 yr.old who has a credit card but there were special rules applying to the rental it would be a economy car thru full size only and not a convertible, van, or pick up truck. Also an additional $15.00 would be added to the rental, so if you rented a car for $25.00 a day you would add another $15.00 to it and that would make it $40.00 a day. I am a retired GI and this would not make me feel good but that is the only answer that I can give you, you might try special services on base they might have one, but my wild guess is that they don't either. Sorry. addendum; I was asking them about San Antonio Texas this might be different in another part of the country. Others at rent a car best place with alot of selection |
