We are thinking of moving to San Antonio TX and I would like to know what are the best schools? |
Travel Info My children are will be in 8th grade and kindergarden Travel Tips The best school district in San Antonio is Northside. However, not every school in NISD gets the same amount of funding per child. Braun Elementary seems to get $7,000.00+ per child while some of the others get a little over $5,000.00 per child. The Braun area is pretty nice, especially the established neighborhoods; they are quiet and lovely with all the oak trees. You'll find most new builders around San Antonio are SUPER lazy in working around the beautiful trees. They plow them all down to make their job easier. I happen to think it's a sin to get rid of such beauty that has been here for a hundred years or more. But try convincing the builders of this. Enjoy your new city! Others North side independent School district and North East Independent School. Both are very good. If you are from the NE you feel like your district is the best but it is a little uppity. They are rated number one but are a smaller school district than N. My children graduated from N., one of my kids is now a MD college professor. He teaches young and old Doctors how to be Child Neurologists, His foundation came from a North side school. My conclusion is that both are really good, welcome to San Antonio I agree with the first answer, there are also some very good private schools here in San Antonio. Comal independent school district is pretty good |
