If you live in the far north side (1604/Stone Oak area) then it can be pricey for a one-bedroom. I live near downtown in a VERY nice apartment that's only $550-- has TONS of storage space called a basement (rare in SA) and is part of an old neighborhood that has many, many nice old homes called Monte Vista. A lot of these apartments there are old homes rennovated into apartments. There are ALWAYS apartments for rent...just look for the signs. My friend lives down the street in Olmos Park area and she pays $550 also and her apartment is a little bigger than mine. (one bedroom). It really depends on what you're looking for. If you don't care and you just want a run of the mill place, go to the Medical Center. Cheapish places that are typical of apartments....pretty good space too. |
