The Missions in San Antonio and a Ghost Tour? |
Travel Info How long should you allow to go to the missions? If we were to get to SA around 11ish in the morning and wanted to go to the Alamo, Riverwalk, Market and the Missions (and possibly a ghost tour), would it be possible to do this in one day? Also, I will be taking my 5 year old son, (along with my mom, 16 year old son and his 15 year old girlfriend)....would it be okay to take a 5 year old on one of the ghost tours? I hadn't really planned on going because I would have my 5 yo with me, but I see they have pricing for children, so I'm considering it. Can anybody that has been on any of these tours give me their opinion of whether it would be appropriate for a 5 year old? THANK YOU!!! Travel Tips You should be able to do that in a day. I haven't been on the ghost tour, but the rest of it could be done depending on a few things (if you take a boat ride on the riverwalk, etc.). Others the ghost tour isnt till 10:00 at night anyway...so you would have plenty of time You wouldn't want to do it when it gets real hot. A five year old will get real cranky. Read some other replys saying you could do it in one day. Think you might have to leave some things off your list of to do's. The Alamo is a "mission", by the way. There are actually five of them. All along the San Antonio River. They're close to each other, but not walking distance. Going to the river and then the market and then five missions, I can't see with a five year old in tow. |
