My husband, my 5 y.o. son, and I are leaving for San Antonio in 4 days, besides Sea World, what should we do? |
Travel Info We are going to Sea World, and we are staying at the new Drury Hotel, the old bank, and I want to know, what else do we just have to do? Where should we eat? Help, I want to have a wonderful vacation!!! Travel Tips Lots of things to see. Seaworld is fun. Just down 1604 from sea world is Six Flags Fiesta Texas. You could also see Natural Bridge Caverns. There is an animal park right next door to the caves where you drive around in your car. You can see them and feed the animals. My son loved that. Of course there is the Alamo. You can take a boat tour on the River Walk. The driver will tell you some interesting stuff about the city along the way. The Children's museum is by the Zoo. If you want somewhere specific to take your son. Go to www.mysanantonio.com. They should have a section for visitors there that will list more ideas for you guys. Have a wonderful vacation!! Others The San Antonio Zoo is excellent. You must have lunch or dinner at one of the numerous restaurants on the river walk. Don't forget to visit the Alamo. It's been a very long time since I was there, but San Antonio use to have a great zoo. Don't forget to stroll along the river walk. Remember the Alamo! Make sure you spend some time on the River Walk - lots of good resturaunts down there, too. Also go to the Alamo. And if you get away from the youngster for one evening they have some fun haunted tours. um go on to "River Walk" and there's a boat ride to ride around san anotonio its really fun. G at night it's more fun. And there are so many out door restaurants. There it's truly amazing and fun at night! HAVE FUN!! Going to San Antonio, you need to go to the Alamo. There is not a lot to it, but it is a great landmark in Texas history. Maybe a boat ride on the river by the river walk. That might keep a five year old's interest. You would be on the water and passing a lot of stuff. Other than that, not sure how much for kids there is. The Alamo should be at the top of the List. The Riverwalk is good. Check out the Inner Space Caverns. Very impressive natural features. If you have time head out to Luckenbach, near Fredericksburg. |
