How is the area near teh san antonio airport? |
Travel Info IS IT A SAFE AREA? I AM FLYING IN WITH FAMILY AND THERE IS A LAY OVER SO WE NEED TO STAY THE NIGHT. MY TRAVEL AGENT HOOKED US UP WITH A FREE HOTEL (COMFORT INN, 8640 CROWNHILL BLVD). IT SEEMS TO BE 410 AND BROADWAY. THANKS. Travel Tips It's a good hotel. Ask for the back area because there is alot of construction in the area. I like the earplugs they give out as well; they come in a little bag. I slept very comfortably there. No complaints. It's a good area and very safe. Close to one of the best areas in the city. I live on the other side of the airport near the 250+ acre park behind the airport. Buffers the sound of the planes and not as many fly over because it is a ecological area. Others better bring a gun .. Yeah..it is on the loop..you will be fine...it is a nice hotel. Bad area bro. I travel allot for work and that is not the best area. Try the Airport Hilton its allot safer. Downtown isn't that bad. When I was there the cops were having trouble with gangs and shootings and the nearby north star mall. Just a heads up. Its good and bad. Be safe. Good Luck Deo It is absolutely safe. While here you should visit the Applebees near the airport, ask for the manager, mention that you were on yahoo answers and if you get me I will give you a free desert! Ask the airline for a food voucher, I think that if your layover is because of a mistake the airline made, or mechanical/ weather related they will provide each member in your family with a voucher. it is totally safe, don't travel downtown that would be riduculous, however, there is an awesome Doubletree at 410 and McCullough. I would stay there!! |
