San antonios east side black? |
Travel Info is san antonios east side still mainly black? Travel Tips mainly yes. but there are still lots of other people too. Others it really is not. prior to the 1990's most of the east side was black. but now it is more non black than anything. i think. black are taking over more of the east/northeast side. Actually, yes it is. Judging from an e-mail that you sent to me about another of your questions I would say that you have a real bad problem, it is called bigotry. If your family goes back more than two or three generations then the chances are that you are part of two if not all three White, Back, and Indian, get used to it as it flows in your veins. In answer to your question; Exclusivity in any neighborhood in San Antonio is virtually non-existent. There are neighborhoods that have more of one then another but to say that a White, Black, Latino neighbor is just not existent in San Antonio, and you told me that you wouldn't live next to one, but you most likely do already. The answer to your question is yes, and also the far Northeast like the Judson area. Dude, what's your hangup? Three questions in a row. People live where they PREFER to live. That's the way it is. There is no "de facto" segregation. Believe it or not, many people CHOOSE to live with those they most feel comfortable. Others move to where they can best afford. Then there's the location of the air force bases. Where you were stationed had a lot to do where you lived. I lived in San Antonio back in the 80s. The north side was white, the east side was black, and the south and west sides were hispanic. Even though I lived in a very upscale neighborhood at the time, my next door neighbor was a dentist whose parents emigrated from Mexico. Four doors down was Artis Gilmore, the center for the Spurs at the time. I've come to the conclusion that you are just an agitating bigot. Kiss off. |
