I'm moving to san antonio, should i look for a home in the stone oak area or Helotes? |
Travel Info I have 2 high school kids. I really think i like the O'Connor school for the band. and i have heard of a neighborhood called Braun,but i haven't had a chance to pinpoint the area we want to move to since i am coming from out of state. Travel Tips I live in Helotes and it is a great place. Stone Oak is nice but of the 2 I would pick Helotes just because traffic is better. I would go against living off of Braun unless you are on a budget. Braun is south of Bandera where traffic is as bad as Stone Oak. Incidently I am a Real estate agent here if you happen to need one. If not good luck and e-mail me if you have a question. Others The cost of real estate is very cheap here in comparison to other places but the taxes in San Antonio are very high. Unless you plan on selling as soon as the kids are up and out I would suggest that you buy in Helotes. Further more the house in Helotes is going to be worth more down the road. |
