Where are some good places in San Diego County for an outdoor June wedding? |
Travel Info I'm looking for a pretty setting by water. The reception needs be be at the same location or close by. Travel Tips Hotel del Coronado is excellent. i've seen tons of wedding done there.. the beach is right there, the backdrop is perfect, and the Hotel itself is beautiful. then, there's the L'Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa - it was voted the most romantic place to kiss a while ago (not sure how long ago), but the backdrop there on the beach during sunset is fabulous. i'm not 100% sure about the reception areas, i've been to two wedding there - but both were held in the same reception area (and it was held at night)... i thought it was too dark inside, and i didn't care too much for the lighting... la valencia has some nice reception areas, and it's in la jolla. i like that restaurant a lot, however, if i had to choose, i would choose in the order i recommended to you. coronado, then del mar, and then la jolla. plus, la jolla can be a b*&$h to get to sometimes.. ps: when you said, same location, you meant reception and ceremony right? well, i've been to several weddings at the del, and it was just absolutely regal - good luck and congratulations!
