Travel Info Two married Seniors with suit case each want most scenic bus trip from San Fransisco to San Diego.? Others I heard of 2 seniors who "wanted to see the whole country" by bus and they later swore that they'd never do that again. Way too tiring and the same old interstate fast food places. May I suggest that you spend your time exploring San Francisco, renting a car and visiting Marin county, driving along the Pacific coast, etc. You could also spend some time visiting LA, Solvang (a Danish village), San Diego, etc. Air fares are cheap this time of year so you could fly between the cities of California. How about Amtrack, you can get the feeling of being on a train. Make it an adventure and get off and stay at hotels on the way. Rent a Car and go South on the Coast Highway. When you get to Carmel, stay at Quail Lodge. Yeah. Take the train. If you drive, take the 101 south to LA, then take 5 south to San Diego. There are lots of romantic things to do in San Diego. Watch a beautiful Pacific Sunset, romantic restaurants, beach hotels, bay cruises, beach bonfires, etc. For specific ideas go to http://www.sandiego-romanitcs.com... http://www.sandiego-romantics.com... |
