Any good places near San Diego that are good for a short Honeymoon? |
Travel Info I'm getting married in July, we picked a cool date (7/7/07) and didnt realize how tight it would be to save up, thus will not have too much extra money for a honeymoon, anyone know any nice getaways near san diego that arent to expensive? I dont wan to do Los Angeles or Vegas. I minght wanna try Catalina or a cruise, any other ideas? Travel Tips Well, if you are in San Diego, try across the border. That should not cost much. On Catalina there is a country inn run by a European man and his wife that is very nice. You get home cooked meals and usually have your meal with the owners. That could, however, cost you about $150 a day. But it is nice. Or check round for Country Inns and locate one in NM. Also nice. Others Go to Coronado to the Del Coronado hotel...or up the coast to the Ritz Laguna Niguel...to save $$$ stay nearby in a cheaper place and spend sunsets at these great places...a glass of wine and a view that can't be beat. Temecula might be a fun place to go...the villas at South Coast Winery are very nice. You can go wine tasting, take hot air balloon ride, or enjoy a private massage in your room. There's some cute bed and breakfast inns in Julian that can be very romantic. You can enjoy wine tasting, hiking, and horseback riding in the area. http://www.sandiego-romantics.com... |
