Travel Info What are some things to do in san diego.....im from IN? Travel Tips San Diego is large enough that you should be able to find lots of things to do that fit your interests. Known for its fabulous weather, there are lots of outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, biking, watersports, skating, camping, drifting in a gondola, sunbathing, beach volleyball, boogie boarding, surfing, and more. Don't miss seeing a San Diego sunset. You can spend weeks exploring the museums of Balboa Park, the world famous San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal Park near Escondido in the northern section of San Diego. Be sure to get a view of San Diego's skyline from Coronado Island. You can drive across the bridge or take a ferry across to the island. Beach is very nice there too. Also, if you already have a passport (this is due to the new Homeland Security regulations) it's just a hop skip and aa jump over the border to Tijuana, Mexico which is kinda fun for a crazy night out on the town. There are a lot of Navy guys there due to the Navy base if you like Navy men:) and the weather is the best in the nation year round. Great golf courses. San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Lego Land, Soak City Water park, lots of beaches, Balboa Park (lots of museums), Down Town has a pretty decent night life.
