How is the Carlsbad area for late 20's...avg rent for one bedroon apt.?

Carlsbad is ok if you like the beach, no much to do there, central San Diego is more happening. Apartments start at about $800 for a studio for both places, look on craigslist.com either for apartments or shares/ roommates.

Others
Carlsbad is whack. Rent is an arm and a leg and there is alot of rich assholes there. The only thing great there is the beach and some of the local bars.
