Because there is alot of crime (Marines,Gangs,Illegals,ect) But I do understand your question. Why is it so cheap. But I bet...comming from a person who lived there for 21 years. (My whole life!) And lived all parts of oside. The nicer part is more expensive and a 15 min drive to the beach and that is the Ranchero Del Oro! It's a nice area...and has awesome schools. People always forget to mention this area when they are talking about Oceanside.Also, I grew up in South O part of my life...there is nothing ghetto about that area.All this sums up too is that Oceanside is has a nice real estate...just some areas you dont want to live in... becuz its somewhat in the boonies.
it's ghetto. Tons of gangs, white trash, blockhead marines, and illegals. There are some nicer parts though, the closer you go to Carlsbad. and it's far from central san diego.
I think the name says it all. Southern Ca by the ocean. I lived in CA all my life until 2 years ago. You cant beat the weather but housing prices and trafficare a nightmare. Now I live in a huge house for 1/3 of the price of my tiny house.
