Warmest months in San Diego ?

Travel Tips
Statistically, the warmest months are August and September (78 and 77 degrees on average). July is pretty close, but it depends on the marine layer. June is not as warm because San Diego gets a lot of low clouds during that time. We call it 'June gloom.'
Why does it get so warm in September? We frequently have Santa Ana winds blowing during that time. Normally, San Diego gets onshore breezes (from ocean to shore), but during September the winds shift and we get hot winds from the desert to the ocean. Be warned though, Santa Ana winds can happen just about any of the months surrounding September. San Diego can be warm all the way through October or longer. I would say August and September. I'm always burning those two months. June and July, not so much.

June through mid October, the same as the Bay Area.
