Fun things to do in San Diego?

Can someone tell me some fun things to do in San Diego? Im going there next week. And if anyone knows how far LA is that would be great, thanks!

It all Depends on what you want to do...

Stroll the Beaches (Mission, Pacific, Imperial, Ocean, and etc.)

Night Clubs (Gaslamp District, TJ, Mission Valley)

Malls (Horton, Mission, Fashion, Parkway, UTC, Bonita and etc.)

Arts and Culture (Balboa Park, Symphony Orchestra, Little Italy)

Amuesment Parks
(Sea World, Belmont Park, Lego Land, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park)

There's also a number of Teen Night Clubs (since i don't know your age) and also about 10 Casinos within a 30 minute drive plus, some really nice strip clubs, lol (there is a No-Touch Law in San Diego so contact with strippers are prohibited)

Others
The San Diego zoo! It's a blast. Even adults love to strole around and see all the awesome animals.
The San Diego Zoo is world famous. They have everything you could think of. A harbour cruise is nice. LA is about two hours away.
It's a lively place. i don't know too much about it though.
Just don't park near the roller coaster at Mission Beach. 80% chance your car will get broken into and all your CD's, and your favorite hat will be stolen along with your lady friend or wife for girlfriend's purse.

Naturally, the first thing that comes to mind is the world famous Zoo. It is phenomenal. You can easily spend more than a day there. A nice side trip is to Coronado Island to see the Fabulous hotel Del Coronado. It's where they filmed Some Like it Hot, years ago, and still is a wonder to behold. Right on the beach, a history all it's own. Another side trip, of course, is to cross the border. I would advise going with a tour group. Shopping in a border town is quite an experience! Sorry, no idea how far it is from LA. Have a great time! Night life is plentiful.
