Which California beach town is prettier,and which is a more fun place to live: LaJolla, Encinitas or Carlsbad? |
Travel Info Can you give a brief description, telling the pros and cons of living in each of these San Diego beachside communities? Thanks! Travel Tips I lived in CA for 17 years. LaJolla is very beautiful, but i have to admit it its very pricey. Its an expensive area. High class area of SD and its so gorgeous over there. So many great restaurants and shopping areas. Close to the schools. I do think its prettier . Carlsbad is more of a beachtown. Less expensive and its got that great boardwalk area where everything is within walking distance and its has alot of great hangouts and the beach is right there. I didn't spend too much time in Encinitas. I lived in Rancho Bernardo/Poway area and then spend the last 5 years in Temecula. I think that is pretty and I loved downtown San Diego, right next to the harbor. Others California sucks..............too many beaners I have heard that Encinitas is nice. My sister used to live near there. Sorry I can't give you a comparison though! |
