Of the 2 malls, which do you prefer: Grossmont Center or Parkway Plaza? |
Travel Info And why? Or, do you avoid them both and shop somewhere else in the east I-8 area? Travel Tips I like Parkway Plaza better..They have more thing in it..But I love the Target at Grossmont.. But I prefer Horton Plaza out of all of them. Others Horton Plaza Between the two, I'd pick Grossmont Center. The first answer of Horton Plaza doesn't help you because that's not even on the 8! My personal choice would be to avoid both of those malls, go west on the 8, and end up at Fashion Valley. That's the best mall in San Diego. I prefer Grossmont Center because it has Shakey's Pizza. If I had to choose I'd prefer Parkway Plaza... seems bigger or with better stores. But I normally go to Fashion Valley, I like the laidback environment. Just in case you're interested in knowing, they opened a new mall Otay Ranch Town Center (or something like that) Take the 805 south exit on Olympic Parkway and make a left, then drive about 10 miles on olympic parkway... it's really nice and it's pet friendly in case you have a doggie and like to go shopping with the doggie =) parkway, they have better stores. It usually depends on what I need. I actually prefer Parkway Plaza when shopping for clothing because it caters more to the style I shop for - PacSun and the like - but I prefer to go to Grossmont for certain things like Barnes and Noble, the movie theater, etc. |
