How long is traffic from San Diego to Los Angeles on a Thursday early evening? |
Travel Info From UCSD to UCLA. Travel Tips 2 hours if there is no accident if you leave at 6. If you think early evening is 4, expect 3 hours. Others it's not too bad once you get to Del Mar (it's always crowded).... then it's fine up until san clemente (if the check pt is open).... get in the carpool lanes by san juan capistrano (saves you some traffic) and then once you're in the 405 it's somewhat smooth of a ride... i would say it'll take you about 2 hrs (that's how much it was the last time i went to LAX- during the daytime!) minimum of 2 hours...probably closer to 3. Three hours if your lucky. It going to be a long trip. It will take close to three hours, bar any major accidents. Once you hit somwhere around Irvine, you will regret leaving San Diego because I always do. 2 to 3 hours not that bad unless there is an accident. |
