Travel Tips Some of the fun things to do around the La Jolla area are kayaking the La Jolla sea caves, walking around and sightseeing at La Jolla Cove and down to Children's pool where the seals hang out, or watching the gliders and the Torrey Pines Gliderport. From downtown you can take the ferry across to Coronado and bike around the island, checking out the Coronado Bridge, Hotel Del, beaches, and San Diego skyline. You should definitely take some time to see Balboa Park, if you go on Tuesday there are always museums with free admission: http://www.nearhere.com/dates/date_info.... Plus you can enjoy the layout and architecture of the place. On top of that there's SeaWorld, the zoo, wild animal park, etc. Source(s): Date Ideas, Activities, & Events http://www.nearhere.com Other Travel Tips Go to the zoo, it's great! six flags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... i would go to: Balboa Park.... lots of museums/spanish art village Old Town San Diego.... great shops/food/culture Seaport Village..... shops/beach front Coronado.... see the Del Hotel, shop, go to the beach, see beautiful houses... charming area The Zoo.... it's famous SeaWorld Legoland if you have kids Mission Beach.... old rollarcoster/beach culture eat at a taco shop.... carne asada burritos!!!! downtown for a show/restaurants/shopping/nigh... PB... nightlife if your in your early 20s. I just spent a day there last week. I love the Zoo- and I am not an animal guy. The Gaslamp District has been cleaned up and there are a lot of interesting bars and such. I ran into the owner of a place called the Bondi which has an Australian theme- nice place. #1 Old Town #2 Wild Animal Park in the morning, before it gets too hot. #3 Petco Park - baseball game #4 Balboa Park http://entertainment.signonsandiego.com/... |
