Travel Tips
Even though Honey was slightly smart a$$y, they are right on, Just be prepared for people to be rude on the roads, be sure you drive over 75 (seriously everyone does 5-10 over the speed limit even cops) and have fun there are tons of fun things to do , the zoo, the wild animal park, the beaches, just be sure to bring flip flops and tennis shoes, because you'll either be walking a lot or getting sand in your shoes . Don't for get you sun block

San Diego is a nice town. I hope you're taking her to the zoo. It is the best ! No bad things are gonna jump out and grab your daughter, so relax.
Oh yeah tons of them... first things first make sure your daughter doesn't cross the street by herself,.... use plenty of sun block, drink lots of water... stay away from bums they're becoming very bold these days... if you go to the beach make sure the water isn't contaminated... and if you can't swim make sure you learn first... if you don't know your way around use a gps because the roadways are a bit confusing since there's so many curves and turns...
there's lotsa mosquitos out in the summer so make sure you're prepared....
i guess that's it.. san diego is just another state... there's nothing in particular for you to be worried about...

Sigh... some people... i tell you man....
good sun screen.
don't drink the tap water, buy bottled.
stay out of South East San Diego - which is south of the 94 freeway and east of the 805 freeway.

other than that have fun !
San Diego is no more dangerous than any other big city.

one last thing - San Diego's drivers are bad and have no respect for pedestrians !
The most important safety tip is to be mindful of the flags posted on the sand when you go out for a day at the beach. This lets you know which area is safe for swimmers, and which area is for body boarding/surfing. It will also tell you if they are rip currents, which you can't really see without a keen eye but can be dangerous.

Hope you have a great time! The weather here is beautiful right now!
Don't take 5 south or 805 south. You will head towards the ghetto. A lot of bad drivers here in San Diego. Be prepared for people who speed and cause accident and especially the ones who cannot multi-task (talking on the cellphone while driving). Wear sunblock around this time of year. Always lock your car doors! Also maybe it would be better to have more people than just you and your daughter because sometimes people get bold and want to harass you on the street.
I live here...-.-
