Travel Tips You really need to know what to do in San Diego, or else its boring!! ok here goes: * Old Globe theater * Balboa Park * Seaport Village * Scripps Aquarium is family friendly * San Diego Zoo is the biggest in the world, or something? * The Wild Animal Park * Chicano Park is Barrio Logan is very culturally interesting * Hillcrest and Mission Hills are very hip and the most urban communities of San Diego...North Park a little more east is also nice * Little Italy * downtown is very nice but some stuff is expensive * downtown La Jolla (nice little cafes and expensive stores) * PB (rent bikes or skateboards and go down the boardwalk, or just hang on the beach) * If you're looking for partying go to PB, OB, or downtown * North Park is nice * UTC in Unviersity City is a nice open-air mall * Fashion Valley in Linda Vista is very nice * Horton Plaza in downtown is very nice with lots to do * The Gaslamp District in downtown is very fun good luck, I hope this helped! Others One of my favorite things to do is have a bonfire on the beach. Most beaches have fire pits and bonfires are legal. Bring marshmellows to roast and even make s'mores if you like. Drive to the top of Mt. Soledad in La Jolla for a panoramic view of the city. There's so many things to do in San Diego....an insider's guide is at this site: http://www.sandiego-romantics.com... Those "insider tips" are well guarded by the locals. sorry. Just do the regular tourist stuff that was recommended by the others who gave you answers. F.Y.I. San Diego is not known for being an exciting town. We have a reputation for being a laid back town. |
