Travel Info looking into maybe purchasing a home out in the Salton Sea and would like some back round on the area. I would like some pictures of the area as well as know how far it is from Las Vegas and what road would I take to get there. How is the High Schools and Jr. High. Do they have a community college near by? How big and fast is this city growing? How far is it from Temecula? Others when I was stationed at camp pendleton in 73, HML267 used to fly over the salton sea on the way to Yuma or 29 palms...their was nothing out there and I understood it was a marine corps gunnery range Its right out in the middle of the desert man ..hostile territory I cant imagine anyone want to buy anything out there..they must have greatly improved it since the 70s.If anbodys trying to sell you real estate out there I have some swamp land in florida...LOL http://www.saltonsea.ca.gov/geography.ht... |
