What are the diferences between the San Diego Zoo and Wild Life Park? |
Travel Info Wich one is better? wich one has the most animals? Wich one is more apropiatte for kids 2 and 5 year olds? Thanks in advance. I麓m planning one day there, and i don麓t think is enough for botu parks, so your help will be apreciatted. Travel Tips The San Diego Wild Animal Park is run by the San Diego Zoo, so there is a bit of overlap. The WAP is quite a ways out of town and very very big. For kids that age I deffinately recommend the zoo. It is still a lot of walking but they have a childrens' zoo that is bigger than many cities' entire zoo. There are shows in the amphitheaters where they tell you about animals. Source(s): San Diego Zoological Society Member. Other Travel Tips San diego zoo.Wild life park.san diago zoo. The name? One is a zoo and one is a wild animal park...duh. Both are all day events, you can't do both even if you wanted too. The Wild life park is actually a nice long drive outside the city. They are very different so it would depend on what you are looking for to decide which is better. However the Zoo is world class and should not be missed. No offense but kids 2-5 really don't care and won't remember even going in a few years so that shouldn't make a difference on which to choose. The San Diego Zoo is great if you're looking to see a lot of animals in one day. It is clean, family-oriented and very nice - a top zoo. The Wild Animal Park is much larger, and you have the opportunity to see the animals in a more natural habitat. Going around the park is more like a safari than a visit to a zoo. I would recommend the Zoo, being as your kids are so young and the Wild Animal Park is a lot more land to cover. Also, because the habitats at the Park are so big, the animals are able to go out of view which can be frustrating for children when they can't see their fav animal. The Zoo is also very big, so you'll need the whole day to explore it. Hope you have a great time! |
