Going to San Diego in 2 weeks, what else should...? |
Travel Info we do besides sea world, san diego zoo, and beaches? Is the other zoo worth it? Have heard its not. Whats a must do or see in your opinion. Travel Tips * Pacific Beach * Scripps Aquarium * Gaslamp District (there's a jazz festival going on you could check out) * Horton Plaza * Chicano Park (historic) * Fashion Valley * Balboa Park * Ocean Beach * Mission Beach * Hillcrest (the most urban area of San Diego * North Park (very artsy) * Old Town * UTC (great open-air mall) The Wild Animal Park definitely is worth it, it's amazing! Have fun! Others Gaslamp quarter is awesome at night - great restaurants, bars and clubs. Take a Bike Ride around the PB Boardwalk. Here is a list of things Julian, CA (Good Pies) Barona Casino, Viejas, and Sycuan 20-40 minutes from Downtown. Go to Tijuana (Eat at Pueblo Amigo) Climb the Laguna Mountain Peaks (Great View) Near Julian South Bay Run Range Otay Ranch Town Center (New Mall) Balboa Park (Museums Near Zoo) The San Diego Zoo is a great zoo. If you aren't into zoos, there are lots of other things to do in San Diego. It really depends on what you like doing. If you don't live on the coast, it's fun to spend time on the coast. San Diego has 70 miles of beaches with many beach and water activities. You can play beach volleyball, relax on the beach, surf, fish, rent jet skis, ride a romantic gondola, kayak through the La Jolla caves, enjoy a beach bonfire, bike along the coast, take a bay cruise, dine in a romantic restaurant and watch the sunset from your table, and so much more. Belmont Park is fun, It has some rides, games and stores and long the water side. Also Balboa park is a very cool park to go to. I have been to all of these places and recomend it! |
