What's the best way to get from disneyland to a hotel near the san diego zoo without a car? |
Travel Info I'm trying to spend a few days at disneyland then a few days in san diego near the zoo and I'm trying to figure out how to get between the two or find an airport that's centrally located and I don't want to rent a car. Any ideas? Travel Tips well from Disneyland you could take Amtrak the stations closest to Disneyland is Anaheim station but you might have a walk a little distance to the station, there is also direct transit service both the Fullerton (via OCTA 43) and Santa Ana (line 205 I believe) then you can Amtrak to San Diego, then some hotels have a shuttle that will pick you up at the station (or you could take San Diego transit bus to your hotel Or of course there's taxis.. Others You can take the train. There is a train stop at Angel's Stadium near Disneyland. From there you can either take Amtrak all the way to Downtown San Diego then take a bus or walk to the Zoo,it's about 1.5-2 miles from the SD train station to the Zoo entrance. You can also take a Metrolink commuter train from the same train station in Anaheim then transfer to a Coaster commuter train in Oceanside and take that to Downtown SD. Amtrak would probably be the best since you wouldn't have to transfer in Oceanside. |
